Mia walks just four days shy of her 18 month landmark age and Mia has decided to walk. Amy tells me that this morning she was pointing to her shoes and wanted to put them on. Amy duly obliged and helped her into her new white cruising shoes.
She then pulled herself up and hey presto! she was tentatively toddling across the lounge! She was very proud of herself and rightly so! Well done Mia :-).
I’m not sure what the catalyst for this momentous event was. Last weekend I took her to Hilly Fields and she held my hand and walked pretty much the whole way there and back. This may have helped. Of course she may have just decided that she wanted to walk or felt ‘ready’ to move up to the next level of toddlerdom. Whatever the reason the whole Wollny family are very proud and pleased of little Mia(and to be honest and little relieved!).
