It seems Mia has got off to an early start with her teething. Tell-tale signs were a white spot on her lower gum, red cheek, copious dribbling and of course erratic sleeping.I had the day off yesterday so we took a trip to Bluewater. It was a mistake really because Mia was very tired and not at all in the mood to go shopping! We have bought a mini teething ring, and a packet of teething powders which worked wonders with Jake.
Last night she was fine though and woke only once at 2.30am.
A bedtime routine for Mia is emerging. Bath at 5ish which may be followed by a baby massage then a feed and then to bed. Mia usually settles down very quickly. She is very good that way. Then Jake has his stories as normal. Last night Jake was a bit of a pickle. He got upset because I had put toothpaste on his toothbrush. In the end I sent him to bed without stories because he was being a little naughty. After a while he slowly into our room looking very sorry for himself and said sorry. He then brushed his teeth and I promised he could load the brush himself tomorrow.
