On Friday Mia will be exactly 5 months old. So what has she been up to since I lasted posted about her developments?Her poos are still not regular. Yesterday she managed to spray her nursery after a three day poo hiatus. I’m not joking, she splattered the wall and curtains while pushing out the poo. Unfortunately I was just tending to Jake when it happened and after rushing back to her room witnessed the carnage. At which point I called down to Amy “Help I need you!!”
Back to developments:
This morning she woke at 5.30am, which annoyingly she has been doing for a week now. I made up a bottle of formula but she wasn’t really interested and only took half a fluid ounce. I put her back in her cot and she settled down surprisingly quickly. Great I thought, “She’s gone too sleep”. Not so, half an hour later she called out. Amy went in and found her on her back. The significance? I had put her on her front. So this was her very first solo roll :-).
She can now reach out and pick something up quite accurately. The blowing of raspberries still continues. She has started to become a little more aware of her environment and how she can affect it. To this end, she has started to shriek when she gets cross or wants something.
Above all, she is still a poppet and a pet lamb and such a smiley loveable baby :-).
