It’s windy. It’s rainy. It’s all change. Amy officially has started her Social Workers masters degree. Well I say officially started, she has gone off for the introductory day before the course starts proper. I was tasked with taking Jake to school. Of course little Mia came along too for the ride which she loves to do.
When I arrived at the school, Mrs Hughes was waiting to usher the children in, because of the rain. Mia usually has a wander around the playground but this time had to make do with sitting in her pram within the safe confines of her rain cover :-).
Next stop, was at Sara’s, Mia’s lovely child minder. Mia has taken to this very well. I think the home setup of a child minder has helped immensely. Amy officially is scheduled to finish at 4.30pm today but may come home earlier. Depending what happens I may have to take half a day off.
When Amy starts her course full-time we have put in place a rather hectic schedule and due to cost constraints are relying heavily on friends to pick Jake up after school on the days when I am in the office. Lets hope this works out. Fingers crossed!!
