Ride to Bedfont

My second day back at work. The sun is shining in Bedfont today. It is a little different from yesterday. I battled my way home through snow flurries and energy sapping headwinds. Halfway along Upper Richmond Road I was convinced that something was rubbing against by rear wheel so I stopped and took a look. No, it was fine. The problem was the wind. So I just ate a load of glucose tablets and battled on. Arrived home 2.5 hours later :-(.It was great to see Jake and Mia. Jake had been laying with Martha and his room was trashed. ALL the toys had been taken out of his toy box in his room. The lounge was in a similar state.

It took a while for Mia to go to sleep. She kept bringing her legs up to her and tummy and crying. I think it was wind. We took turns to comfort her. She settled down just after 10pm after a little formula feed and then slept for 4 hours. Heaven!

There is a promise of more snow this week so I decided to cycle to Waterloo. The legs area little wobbly this morning and my bottom is aching. I may do the full commute tomorrow, it depends on the weather because it galls me to give money to the rail company when I can get to work under my own steam.
