I have to say, Mia is an absolute PERFECT baby. She feeds until full then sleeps. She does not need to be rocked or cajoled into the latter. She simply drifts off. A few minutes ago I was holding her and she was looking at me. Suddenly she gave me a big smile. Okay, I know this doesn’t mean that she actually is smiling but the next thing she did was give a little giggle and then smiled again! What a poppet :-).The midwives came today to check her weight. She has actually gained some weight which is great because usually bairns lose weight in the first couple of weeks.
Jake is lovely with her and comes and gives her big cuddles and gentle kisses. On the subject of Jake, he has commandeered my DS Lite and is currently loving Lego Star Wars.
Earlier while having ‘chats while hiding’ Jake said “Why is that golden robot see through?”
I said, “He’s not see through he’s a metal robot”
Then Jake said, “but his name…”
It then twigged, “His name is C3PO not see through PO, it just sounds like see through”
Jake was happy with this explanation :-).
