I had a nice time last night. We started at the ‘Hole In The Wall’ opposite Waterloo Station, for a couple of beers then had a couple more and a curry at the Thames Curry House. It was good to catch up with all the news. Mike is now living is Ealing but may venture south of the river. He was looking in the New Cross area but had heard stories of bad things going on. In New Cross? Never!!
In total I had four pints of 4% Becks which was rather nice. Low strength beers seems to be all the rage at the moment. I arrived home quite merry after a brisk walk from Lewisham. Amy and George were having a girls night in and were watching “Mama Mia”. After my initial exclamations regarding Pierce Brosnan’s attempts to sing I joined in whole-heartedly :-). “Mama-mia here I go again…”
